# Ninetile API

> Get hCaptcha token solves and image challenge answers with Ninetile's JSON APIs.

Ninetile provides two APIs: the Token API returns a token for an hCaptcha sitekey and page, and the Recognition API returns answers to a challenge you provide.

## Start here

1. [Create an account](https://ninetile.io/signup) and add prepaid balance.
2. [Create an API key](https://ninetile.io/dashboard/keys) and keep it on your server.
3. Follow the [quickstart](/docs/quickstart.md) or use the API reference to explore endpoints.

Requests use JSON over HTTPS at `https://api.ninetile.io/v1`. Successful work is charged; failed, cancelled, and expired solves are not charged.

> The Chrome extension is coming soon. Cryptocurrency top-ups are not enabled until the payment integration is configured and verified.
